The Scalp Health & Hair Care Science Certification is USTI's newest credential, designed and written from the ground up by the institute that set the standard in trichology. This certification exists to make you the one who does.

What You'll Learn
Across eleven modules: scalp and hair anatomy, hair health and the six types of hair damage, scalp types and proper scalp care, at-home product categories, hair care and scalp care ingredient science, how to build and customize product recommendations for any client, how to identify early signs of hair loss and when to refer, common scalp diseases, chemical services and their effect on scalp health, the flaking scalp in depth (dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis), and nutrition and supplementation support. The program closes with a capstone of real-world case studies and worked examples you can apply with your very next client.
